Dr Asiya Maula
Dr Maula earned her medical degree in 2007 from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, later obtaining distinctions in both Public Health in 2013 and Medical Education in 2018 at the Master’s level. She holds certifications from The Institute of Functional Medicine in America and The International Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
As an accomplished GP, Dr. Maula offers her expertise in both the NHS and private sectors. Alongside her fellow GPs, she is committed to identifying and addressing the root cause of patients’ concerns, providing patient-centred, holistic, and multidimensional solutions.
As a clinician, Dr. Maula has experience in various specialities and currently works as a General Practitioner within the NHS and private sector, as well as a Functional and Lifestyle Medicine Doctor. She is accredited by the Institute of Functional Medicine, USA, and the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Maula is also pursuing further certification with the Kharrazian Institute, USA, and serves as a Metabolic Terrain practitioner, trained and mentored by Dr. Nasha Winters. Her passion for lifelong learning and the root cause approach drives her to support patients in restoring health and wellness.
Dr. Maula has published numerous peer-reviewed research papers in high-impact medical journals, authored books, and presented at conferences across the UK. She has also attained distinctions in her Master’s degrees in Public Health and Medical Education and regularly provides medical training courses for trainees and aspiring general practitioners. Dr. Maula is particularly interested in hyperbaric oxygen therapy for functional recovery and metabolic health, including cancer treatment.
Dr. Maula is fully trained to operate the hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber, having completed a course in Commercial m-HBOT Operations and training with the International Hyperbaric Association.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Maula enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places, meeting new people, and maintaining an active lifestyle as a keen runner.
