Dr Mahesh Kodivalasa
Dr Mahesh Kodivalasa has vast experience as a specialist in anaesthesia and pain medicine.
Having completed basic post-graduation training in anaesthesia in India in 2005, he moved to the United Kingdom in 2009. He completed his training in the United Kingdom as a Specialist Trainee in anaesthetics and also has undergone a dedicated fellowship training programme in pain medicine.
Dr Kodivalasa received personnel commendation from the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Royal College of Anaesthetists. He was awarded the prestigious FFPMRCA (Pain Medicine) Examination Prize for his excellent performance and for scoring the highest in the country.
Dr Kodivalasa is working as a consultant in anaesthetics and pain medicine at The University Hospitals of Leicester – NHS Trust, United Kingdom since 2018 and practices privately delivering the Pain Clinic at The Health Suite.
He sees patients above the age of 15 years. He is an expert in pain medicine including interventional management.
He also sees patients in the outpatient clinic for planning patient-tailored management. His areas of special interest include ultrasound-guided interventional procedures.
He is the founder and director of many innovative and highly reputed national courses in pain management. He also has co-authored two textbooks.
