Dr Maumer Durrani

Dr Durrani has extensive post-graduate training in Rheumatology, including experience at several tertiary care centres including Guys & St Thomas and Kings College Hospital. He worked at Kings College Hospital London as a Consultant Rheumatologist before moving to Leicester. Dr Durrani has particular clinical interests and expertise in:

• back pain
• inflammatory arthritis
• soft tissue rheumatism
• connective tissue disease
• bone conditions
• muscle disorders
• osteoarthritis.

Dr Durrani is the clinical lead for muscle disease as well as early inflammatory arthritis at University Hospitals Leicester. Dr Durrani tries to help his patients understand their condition in simple terms and talk about investigations and management options based on their individual circumstances.
