Fatema Contractor

Fatema qualified as an Osteopath in 2009 from the renowned British School of Osteopathy in London, the largest educational institution for Osteopathy in the U.K.

Over the years she has worked with the Leicester Tigers rugby team as well as Leicester City FC Women’s team giving her a wealth of experience in sporting injuries. Fatema has also completed training in dry cupping, which has proven very popular, especially among athletes.

Fatema has a specialist skillset in paediatrics and pre and postnatal care. She completed the Award in Paediatric Osteopathy making her the only Osteopath in Leicestershire to have this accreditation. Having two children of her own, both of whom have benefitted from Osteopathy she is an advocate for the treatment she offers.  Fatema believes in continuously upskilling to be the best practitioner she can be and is constantly looking for new and effective ways to help her patients. Over the years she has gained an awareness of the large numbers of women who are not receiving the rehabilitation they need after having a baby, she went on to train as a Mummy MOT practitioner.

Fatema is also fully trained to safely operate our hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber having completed a course in Commercial m-HBOT Operations and training with the International Hyperbaric Association.

Her interests include lifestyle medicine, reading and travelling.
