Mr Suresh Srinivasan

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Upper limb

Mr Srinivasan is an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon. As well as offering his services with us, here at The Health Suite he works at Kettering General Hospital (KGH) NHS Foundation Trust and has an Honorary Consultant contract with University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. He previously completed a Fellowship at Wrightington Hospital and the Leicester Shoulder Unit.

Mr Srinivasan provides expert management for a variety of elective and traumatic conditions affecting the Upper Limb including the shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist.  He is the first surgeon at KGH to have introduced and performed Navigated Shoulder Replacement and Patient Specific Instrumentation for shoulder replacement surgery. Mr Srinivasan is also proficient in primary Lower Limb arthroplasty (Hips and Knees) and knee arthroscopy.

He is Lead for Education and joint lead for Virtual Fracture Clinic Initiative for Trauma and Orthopaedics at KGH. He is passionate about teaching and training undergraduates, postgraduates and other health care professionals. He is a faculty member at the Wrightington FRCS Orth Course and has been a faculty member at the Leicester Joint Injection Course and ATLS courses previously. Mr Srinivasan is also a Co -Investigator of national level multicentre SCIENCE Trial for children’s elbow fracture at KGH.

We are excited to have Mr Srinivasan join the team and offer his expert care in conditions affecting the shoulder, arm and hand as well as the hip and knee in our Upper & Lower Limb Orthopaedic Service.

Mr Srinivasan is fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil.
