Aesthetics by Aly
As we age, our skin loses its elasticity and our bone structure also changes. There is increasing pressure today to look younger and this can have a dramatic effect on your confidence.
Before having any aesthetic procedure, it is important to review the practitioner's credentials to ensure they are suitably qualified, as well as using high quality products.

Treatment
Anti Wrinkle Injections
Years of squeezing muscles in the face can cause wrinkles. One of the treatment options for this is to inject a protein called Botulinum toxin.
This temporarily blocks the nerve signal to the muscle and stops it from contracting.
The treatment can be used to help with vertical lines between the eyebrows (frown lines), horizontal lines in the forehead or crows feet around the eyes.
Anti wrinkle injections can also be used to prevent deep wrinkles from developing in the future.
Medical Grade Skin Peel
Medical grade skin peels exfoliate the damaged, uppermost layers of the skin to provide an ‘instant glow’, leaving the skin looking visibly brighter and tighter. They do NOT peel off your actual skin.
Medical grade skin peels are an effective treatment for dull, tired skin, acne, uneven pigmentation and making the skin feel generally smoother. Skin peels provide a positive antioxidant effect, containing anti-inflammatory properties and promote collagen production. There are different peels available, depending upon your individual needs.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are used to replace lost volume in the face. As we age, the fat pads reduce, causing the skin to droop. This can lead to deep lines from the nose to mouth as well as a sagging jawline.
Dermal fillers restore face volume, reduce deep lines and create a more youthful appearance.
Dermal fillers can be used for enhancing and plumping lips, which also reduces fine line around the mouth.
Microneedling
As our skin ages, our collagen production slows down.
Micro needling is a method of introducing a controlled injury to the skin’s dermal and epidermal junction which induces growth factors, new collagen and elastin production. This results in healthier, younger looking skin. It also helps with deep wrinkles, advanced sun damage , stretch marks and any type of scar, especially acne scarring.
Typically, a series of 3-4 treatments are required, at 6-8 week intervals.
Profhilo
Profhilo is a relatively new product to the market.
It consists of one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA) available in any one product. HA is a naturally occurring substance which helps with skin repair and hydration. Profhilo contains two different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid.
The lower weight HA hydrates the skin and stimulates new elastin and collagen within the skin, while the higher weight HA provides support to your skin structure.
It can be used anywhere where the skin lacks elasticity, common areas being the face, neck and décolletage.
There is very little down time with profhilo.
Initially it is recommended that you have 2 treatments,4 weeks apart.
You can then have 1 treatment every 3-6 months.
Patients can expect the skin to look more hydrated, with a healthy glow as well as improving fine lines and wrinkles.
The cost of profhilo is £250 for the first treatment and then £200 per treatment afterwards .
