Clinical Reflexology
Reflexology is an inclusive, safe and supportive complementary therapy. People of any age can experience the therapeutic benefits – from newborn babies to parents-to-be, to retirees.

About
Reflexology is a type of massage that involves applying pressure to certain points on the feet (and sometimes hands or ears too), which can offer a range of health benefits.
The practice of using our feet to promote good health can be traced back to the ancient civilisations of China, Egypt, India, Japan and Russia through archaeological sources such as early tomb paintings, sacred texts and hieroglyphics.
Treatment
Reflexology regularly features as part of a successful wellbeing plan for both the mind and body. It can help you with:
- Anxiety, stress and feelings of being overwhelmed
- Auto-immune diseases, such as chronic inflammatory conditions and MS
- Cancer
- Depression
- Digestive conditions such as IBS
- Fertility
- Hormonal imbalance
- Insomnia
- Migraine
- Muscular skeletal problems such as back pain
- Pregnancy
- Respiratory illness such as asthma
About Clinical Reflexology for health
Reflexology, as we practice it today, sees the entire human body mapped onto our feet and hands to form reflex points.
Our clinical reflexologist, Lesley, will use her fingers, thumbs and other hand techniques to apply pressure to your reflex points in order to soothe illness, relieve tension and encourage balance.
After a treatment people often feedback how relaxed they feel, what a great night’s sleep they’ve had and a sense of feeling uplifted.
