At The Health Suite, we offer chair-based exercise sessions to keep your body healthy, mobile and active
It is vital to stay active in order to keep your body healthy, especially as you age.
With reducing mobility exercise becomes harder. This leads to a spiral of declining physical function affecting your strength and balance.
Movement on a regular basis can reverse and prevent this, helping you to feel better.
The aim of a chair-based exercise session is to improve your strength and balance and comes with the added benefit of social connection within a group setting.
You will be guided through a comprehensive exercise session, all whilst seated in a chair.
These sessions will help to:
- Increase your range of movement
- Increase your flexibility
- Develop better balance
- Improve your posture
- Maintain cognitive function and mental health
