Dr Ian Edwards

Dr Edwards trained in Geriatric Medicine and General Medicine in the East Midlands and has held a substantive Consultant Physician post at the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire since 2017. His expertise is in comprehensive and holistic care for the often complex and multifaceted problems which can affect older people.

During his clinical work in the NHS, Dr Edwards provides expert support to colleagues in surgical, orthopaedic and organ-specific teams when an holistic approach is needed. He has undertaken additional training in the provision of care for older people preparing for and recovering from surgery.
