Dr Pradeep Ingle

Dr Pradeep Ingle has been a Consultant in Pain Management and Anaesthesia since 2018, with a special interest in supporting people to manage and overcome chronic pain conditions. He currently serves as a Consultant at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, where he leads the Pain Management Service.

His career began with postgraduate training in Anaesthesia and Critical Care in India in 2006. Since moving to the UK in 2009, Dr Ingle has undertaken specialist training in Anaesthetics, followed by a dedicated Pain Medicine Fellowship through the East Midlands Deanery. During his training, he gained extensive experience at renowned institutions, including the University Hospitals of Leicester, Lincoln County Hospital, and Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, as well as several hospitals outside the region, before his speciality training.

Dr Ingle provides evidence-based, personalised, and patient-focused care for a wide range of adult pain conditions, including:

  • Chronic pain syndromes
  • Back and spinal pain
  • Joint pain (shoulder, knee, hip, etc.)
  • Fibromyalgia and widespread pain
  • Neuropathic pain
  • Ultrasound-guided nerve blocks
  • X-ray guided spinal injections
  • Radiofrequency ablation procedures
  • Lignocaine infusions for refractory pain

His approach is holistic and patient-centred, combining advanced procedural techniques with multidisciplinary collaboration to help patients regain function and improve their quality of life. Skilled in both ultrasound and fluoroscopy-guided interventions, he is committed to delivering thorough assessments and compassionate care.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Ingle is passionate about teaching and education. He has co-authored two books, one in Anaesthesia and another in Chronic Pain Management, designed for doctors pursuing these specialities. He has also served as a course director for pain management programmes aimed at training junior doctors and regularly mentors resident doctors in anaesthetics and pain medicine, as well as allied health professionals. Furthermore, he has contributed to national audits and projects focused on patient safety and clinical excellence in the field of pain medicine.
