Yes, you can self-refer for an ECG at The Health Suite. However, if your child is unwell, a medical consultation may be more appropriate as a first step.
A report will be produced usually same day if a test is completed before 5pm on a Monday to Friday, Tests completed on the weekend will usually reported on the next working day.
No. ECGs are painless. The only sensation your child may feel is the placement and removal of sticky electrode pads.
Yes, parents or carers are welcome and encouraged to stay with their child throughout the appointment.
If any abnormalities are detected, we can offer guidance on the next steps, including onward referral to paediatric cardiology where appropriate.
We are based in Leicester with free on-site parking and excellent access from across the Midlands.
We recommend loose-fitting clothing. Your child may be asked to remove their top, but we always ensure privacy and comfort.
