Dr. Bhavik Patel 

Dr Patel completed his medical training at the University of Manchester in 2005. He has been a General Practitioner since 2012 and went on to work as an NHS GP partner in Leicester. In addition, he also teaches medical students at the University of Leicester and is a Medical Examiner for reviewing care at Leicester Hospitals. Dr Patel is also a qualified Occupational Health Physician; helping workers and workplaces create a safe and productive environment. He has an interest in diabetes and men’s health, understanding the importance of treating patients as people and not numbers, and taking a holistic approach to medical problems allows him to manage conditions from various angles.

Having a young family helps him understand the needs of children and hard-working parents. He keeps fit with regular rowing, kickboxing, and taekwondo. He loves watching cricket and football. In his spare time, he enjoys renovating and repurposing furniture.

Dr Patel was born and brought up in Leicester has a good understanding of the diverse needs of the population and can fluently conduct consultations in English as well as Gujarati.
