Mr Jerry Raju

Mr Raju is a consultant urological surgeon with a special interest in the treatment of kidney stone disease. He also manages general urological conditions such as lower urinary tract symptoms, and problems with the foreskin and scrotum.

He qualified from Oxford University Medical School and completed his higher specialist urology training in the West Midlands before undertaking a fellowship in complex kidney stone surgery and endourology in Nottingham. During his undergraduate training he has spent time carrying out urological research at the University of Virginia, USA and clinical placements at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.

Mr Raju has been a consultant urological surgeon at University Hospitals of Leicester, based at the Leicester General Hospital, since 2020. He is actively involved in the teaching and training of Leicester University medical students and urology trainees.
