Kym Hall
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist

Kym Hall

Kym Hall is a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist specialising in mind-gut therapy, gut-directed hypnotherapy, anxiety, health anxiety, stress-related physical symptoms, return to function and teen support. Her work is shaped by both professional training and a personal understanding of the mind-body connection. After experiencing the impact of long-term stress, gut issues and pressure, Kym became deeply interested in the gut-brain axis, and in how anxiety, thought patterns and the nervous system can influence physical symptoms, confidence and daily functioning.

Kym integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, clinical hypnosis, gut-directed hypnotherapy, neuroscience-informed tools and practical nervous system regulation to support clients experiencing IBS, gut reactivity, nausea, anxiety, overthinking, health anxiety, exam pressure and stress-related symptoms. Her approach is structured, evidence-informed and compassionate, helping clients understand what may be maintaining patterns of fear, avoidance, symptom checking or loss of confidence in the body. With additional training in paediatric hypnotherapy and gut-directed, psychogastroenterology-informed practice, Kym works with both adults and young people. A key focus of her work is helping clients move back towards everyday function, whether that involves work, school, social situations, travel, exams or daily routines.

Kym also has a specialist interest in workplace wellbeing and back-to-work support, particularly where anxiety, stress or physical symptoms are affecting attendance, focus, confidence and performance. Her approach is practical and skills-based, supporting individuals and teams to use simple tools in real-life situations. Kym’s interest in wellbeing, mental health and personal development began in her teenage years and has continued throughout her working life. She enjoys family life, travel, good coffee and independent cafés, and her son has helped inspire her interest in supporting young people with pressure, confidence and performance.
